Sarah's real job! If you click the photo, you will see the sign on the gas station that says "Sarah's Phillips 66". I knew she really wasn't an archeologist.
View from one side of our hotel room.
We had a small window over the computer desk looking down Bourbon Street.
I arrived in New Orleans a few hours before Sarah. Shortly after I got back from the casino, it rained for about 20 minutes. It was nice since it cooled everything off and washed away some of the filth before we created more.
Five minutes in the hotel room, and Sarah is already drinking a Gin and Tonic.
This sign reminded me so much of Sarah. I wonder why? Hmmmm...
I refused to go anywhere named Kerry. Damn dirty liberals!!!!!
You can barely see the sign, but we ate at a great place called Asian Cajun. An Atlanta chef from Hong Kong created the fusion restaurant. It was excellant!
The restuarant was a great place to start our evening.
After a short 10 minute wait and one drink at the bar, we got seated. Apparently the librarians had not found this place. Did I mention that New Orleans first big convention since the hurricane was going on. It was a librarian convention, and it was obvious who was a librarian. I found it pretty funny!
